New Year tradition

There were a few demonstrations of New Year traditions this weekend when bathers went into the sea at Whitley Bay, wheel-barrow racing at Ponteland and Morrismen in action.

How about a Geordie Timeline

I think Timelines are great. I really enjoy the Myers Newcastle Timeline but I think we should have one for all of the North East. I also think that this Timeline should be open to everyone to submit dates.

I'd swear we had values!

Working in factories and such-like, you always came across people using swear words, particularly the F word. But in most cases the same workmen, either at home, or out on the streets, avoided using such words.
